When I step foot out of the bus that took us from Málaga to Tarifa, I feel like the people here are radiating joy and contentment.
We leave our bags at the hostel, slip into our flip flops and stroll around town. Most of the shops are closed. Probably because everyone is gone surfing anyway. So instead of buying souvenirs and new clothes for these hot summer days ahead of us, we sip on ice cold smoothies, enjoy the sun and do as the locals – go to the beach and relax.
The smoothies turn into our daily routine in the afternoon and so does the beach (of course).
I take photos of everyone and everything, realising how much I’ve missed it.
So here there are, the moments I captured during my week in lovely Tarifa:
